Default 2011 Q7 3.0 TDI Fault codes

When I go to Cent. Conv. 46, Coding, why there's no long coding option appear but instead showing a different window? I'm trying to get the convenience opening of windows and auto mirror fold upon lockup activated. Please advice on how I can achieved that.

Also, just purchased this car couple days ago brand new. Ran auto scan and found more than 20 fault codes. Attached is the report log file but will break it to 2 files since it's more than 19.5 KB.

Please advice what should I do. Thanks in advance.

Correct, the Central Convenience system in that vehicle doesn't use Long Coding, it uses old-school short-coding. A coding chart should appear in a yellow "help balloon" if you're a bit patient. It looks to me like the bit for "Comfort via Remote" is already set, so have a look at what's in Adaptation Channel 61.

As for the all the fault codes, most of them look like they're due to the vehicle sitting the dealer's lot for a while and the battery getting a bit low. IMO, the dealer should have cleared all the fault codes before delivering the car to you. If it was mine, I'd just clear them myself and not worry about any of them unless they come back.

Thanks Uwe. I went ahead and delete all fault codes. And rescan it after driving 50 miles. No more error code.

A quick question, I see in Channel 61, the stored value is 10. So if I was to enable the windows and sunroof comfort closing and opening via remote, the new value should be 15 right? +1+2+4+8= 15?

Any idea how to enable the auto mirror folds upon lockup?

Thanks for the fast reply.

If the existing value is 10, then you currently have:

+008 = Comfort Opening: Sunroof via Remote Control
+002 = Comfort Opening: Window Regulators via Remote Control

And what you would want to add is:

+001 = Comfort Closing: Window Regulators via Remote Control
+004 = Comfort Closing: Sunroof via Remote Control

Which does indeed add up to 15.

However, before you do this, check if your windows will currenly open vwith the remote. I wonder if Audi has changed something in this module for 2011, since it's very unusual to find any "Comfort via Remote" functions active in a brand new US-model car.

Done. It's working fine as expected. I'm still wondering if I can enable the mirror folds upon lockup, any insight on that? I have that on my Q5 and I love that feature, was wondering if I can have that on my Q7 too. Thanks in advance.
