Anybody tried to "adapt" or "calibrate" the lambda sensors?

Anybody tried to "adapt" or "calibrate" the lambda sensors?
Complained bout my car's (A4 3.0Q) performance and Audi agents made some adaptation to the actual lambda sensors. Would like to know if I could also manipulate this somehow. I am not perfectly happy with what they have done.
