How to get Audi's 7-digits key when swapping instr. cluster ?
(appart from the obvious "go to your closest Audi dealer").
I am changing LEDs on a 1999 A6 cluster, to replace the "all red" atmosphere with a nicer "blue-white touch" as seen in newer cars. I bought a second cluster and fitted the LEDs.
As expected, this second cluster blocks the ECU. As read in Ross-tech FAQ, Immo II should be recoded with the 7-digits key + date + dealership number.
My problem is that Audi refuses to give it away, pretends it is all done online, and so on.
Is there a way to generate such a code without their help ?
Thanks ?
