Wireless standards like bluetooth tend to have latency problems.
In order to have complete control over the precise protocol timing required to communicate with all controllers in the vehicle, you would likely need to have the microprocessor hardwired to the diagnostic port. Then the wireless component would be between that and a PC. That's the way that, for example, BMW's GT1 diagnostic tester works.

honestly, I think you could find a good market for it.
especially if I want to troubleshoot my car and it's cold outside and the vagcom cable won't reach that far, so I can start the car and check blocks from inside.
