Instrument FIS display communication 3-wire or CAN?
I'm trying to find out how to communicate with the FIS/DIS (Driver Information system) display in the instrument cluster like the RNS/radio does. E.g. sending text messages to display.
I noticed there is something called 3-wire-signal but this changed to CAN-BUS signal in 2001. How do I find out what I have in my car?
I have an Allroad -01.
