my 1999 a6, had problem with bad abs module , I got another module, fixed it, however I have issue with recoding, original code is 00031 car with CAN bus communication, and my car is non-can, so I am trying to recode back to original module coding which was 00003 and it won't let me, so I am assuming i need to log in first but I don't have login code is there a generic code for abs module ?

There's no login needed to recode that module, so there's something else not right here. It's possible it won't let you due to the wheel speed sensor fault. Also, be sure the engine is not running when you try to recode it.
