Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire CEL
Started the car yesterday and it ran very rough (glad I got 6 cylinders) but after driving for like 5 miles, the blinking CEL turned solid and everything was back normal. This morning I cleared the CEL and no further faults got logged, there were also no faults in any of the other controllers. Did my coilpacks have a bad day or is this more serious?

What is a common attribute shared by cylinders 1 and 4? .....
Checking for possible causes of the misfires occurring that can effect both those cylinders due to some shared relationship like a vacuum port near both of those cylinders intake ports, a bad vacuum hose connected to that vacuum port can cause those two cylinders to experience misfires but no other cylinders are effected.
In the numbering order, one bank of cylinders is 1, 2, 3, front to back, and the other bank is numbered 4, 5, 6, front to back, so cylinders 1 and 4 are both in the front across from each other, right? What else is common between those two cylinders that can effect fuel/air ratios, and or ignition?

That's the question I would go with to my dealer
I never really open the hood (wouldn't know what to look out for anyway) and this was the first time in 3 years that it did not start as expected. The only difference was that it was parked outside the night before this happened. Didn't happen again the last couple of days, nor are there any new faults logged.
Thanks for the reply though.
