Rear light active with DRLs?
I just traded in the A3 for a Q5 and just have to say, I like the LED DRLs. However, I turned off the DRLs on the A3 because I would rather have the car illuminated on all 4 corners not just the front.
Does anyone know if it's possible to code the rear lights to turn on with the DRLs?

On the A3 it would have been "easy" to simply switch to a different DRL type...
...so for example from NAR (North American Region) to the RoW (Rest of World) setting which does as you would like it illuminate all front and rear.
On the Q5 its even easier and lets you select in detail what lights you want to illuminate. Just go into 09 (Central Electronics), 07 (Coding) and open the Long Coding Assist. Then switch the the individual bytes until you find the settings you'd like to change and simply check/uncheck what you wanna change.

I have a B8 with the 805.3 software. I see all the checkboxes for the light options but
I'm a bit confused as to what each selection actually does to the lights.
Could you take a moment to list them out with with the resulting light behaviors for each box selection?

Yeah, I figured you meant those but what part of that don't you understand?
We thought when naming them this way that "daytime running lights via xyz" would be explanatory enough. Basically the DRL function will run through the checked components so for example currently it means the standard DRL LEDs AND your tail lights are active as DRL.
