Default The current development status is...

...that we have Uwe and Eric working on the next version/release cycle. Both of them already spend most if not all of their time just by maintaining and enhancing the software itself.

As it has been discussed numerous times over the last years we simply don't have the manpower/resources to support a MacOS version especially because its relatively simply to get VCDS running on a Mac these days. Compared to that, porting the application is very similar to completely rewriting it since this isn't a normal application which is easily portable.

I just looked at our WIKI server and which operating systems are used to access it, MacOS only accounts for less than 1% of the hits. So what I am trying to say here is that we would love to fulfill all our customers (and potential customers) needs/requests at the end its a business decision. Sorry.

Default thanks, >10% of laptops sold in the US are Mac

I would imagine laptops are the computers used to run your SW most of the time....

I appreciate your resource issues in these times.

Default Correct, but something one has to keep in mind is that we are not only doing this...

...for a US audience. An essential part of our business is international and the Mac sales are completely different there. Also general sales values do not necessarily represent the audience that is using our product which is why I pointed at the values which I gathered from one of our web servers.

Default I had to format my mac and dual boot w/XP to use the ross tech software

and it is somewhat of an inconvinience. But I guess if you pay over $1,500 for a laptop you can afford $200 more to get an old IBM one just for tunning.. doh!
