Trying to use my USB HEX Twin COM cable as a USB Serial Port
I ended up using the software here:
http://www.ross-tech.net/vag-com/download/Virtual-COM-Port.zip
I have only one USB port on the back of my PC, but have a PCMCIA card that has two more.
So I did the install and got a "USB Serial Port (COM 5)", but then when I went to use lemmiwinks, it said COM5 was not supported.
Is there a way to make the ross-tech cable be a USB serial port on COM1-4?
BTW, I also tried it on my GF's laptop, which does not have anything installed on it, but ended up creating a COM-6 port!
Thanks.
Paul

You don't have a "USB HEX Twin COM"
You have a HEX-USB+CAN.
The only suggesting I have is to follow the instructions here:
