Default vag-com not seeing Can-bus

Hi I have a 2006 A4 quatro, I've installed a RNS-E sat nav and factory bluetooth 8PO 862 335N. The Sat nav is working fine and the blue tooth box is talking to it but the the factory mic isn't working. And my Vag com V 908 can't communicate with the can bus or the telephone ( it can with the RNSE)what do think the problem could be? thanks in advance. Rick

Can you post an auto scan for us?

Thanks for your reply Dana, I puled the RNS-E out and it looks like the guy who installed it didn't connect the K line.

I'll try fixing that first ( when I find out where it's meant to go)

Then try scanning again.

thanks.

If you are still having problems after wiring it properly, you may also want to state the part number of the unit which is installed. Not all of them do support the k-line...

Yep, you stated that one in your original post already. I was referring to your RNS-E though.

That part number does as far as I am aware not exist. Assuming you meant 8E0-035-192-T, that one should work though.

Thanks for all the advice.

There is a plug on the wiring harness not connected. Any idea where it goes or what goes into it. It may solve the problem.
Thanks

That does NOT look like an original wiring harness to me...
