VCDS Interface issues......

I am having issues connecting my fully registered VCDS to my car.It has worked fine for the past 2 years but is now saying unable to find interface/interface not ready.
Any ideas anyone?

Thanks i will keep that in mind but the problem is i'm in the UK and it would cost me an arm and an a leg in phone bills.
Maybe i will email instead.

Please give this a try:

Go to Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs. It may take a bit to build a list of installed software. Look towards the bottom of the list for "Windows Driver Package -- Ross-Tech USB Driver Package ..." You may have one or more of those. Uninstall any that you find by clicking the respective [Change/Remove] button. Then try re-installing the driver, pointing it toward the C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\ directory as explained here:

If that is unsuccessful, go to the Device Manager and look for the interface under Unknown devices or Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Let us know what you find.

Good News.All is working fine now thanks to Dana@rosstech.
Unistalled drivers and vcds and then re-installed the whole package.

Thanks again and can i just say that VCDS is a fab product!!!!
