UK counts everything in imperial gallons... BTW (Inside)
When Using the current VAG-COM Version 409.0 there is a labelfile included that describes all digits of the instrument cluster coding.
As I see now this is only right until end of MY 2004, MY 2005 uses a new coding, I will add it as fast as possible.

Yes, that was one little concern I had, was not sure.
Thanks Theresias for confirming that this is the case. I was not sure if it was instruments or ECM which made that calc. I can live with it. Out of the 9 country codes I looked at UK seemed to be the only alternative available which had minimal impact.
I prefer metric since I was bought up using it, however my wife insited that I not change this.
The two concerns I had when deciding on the country code given her parameters was the difference in the size of the Gallon, and the accuracy of the speedo. US regulations requie that the speedo does not register slower than actual and therefore there is an error built in. I'm not sure if the speed calc is effected by country code, or if VW/Audi ship all cars with this error making country code irrelavent in this regard.
The lable files don't seem to work for me on module 17, and even if they did I suspect the seat belt codeing of 3 would not be there since it's new. I did this the hard way by google searching. If you get new lable files setup let me know, I would find this very useful.
Thanks.
