What does "overun" mean in TCM reading
I was test driving my 2000 A4 2.8L with a scan tool connected and observing measuring block readings from the TCM.
On channel 2 of measuring block 008, "overrun" began to appear and dissapear and finaly appeared and stayed there.
Pls does anyone know what this block measures and what does overun mean.
Note: I know this forum says VAG-COM but i dont have one. What i use is called VAG5053. It has served me well for now.

Perhaps you should ask whomever made your "VAG5053".

Wish i could. No dice there. If you know what block 008 of the TCM is suppose to measure generally, that would be helpful. Could probably figure out the rest myself.

"Uwe" is my real name. It's German, not African.
If the people who made your "VAG5053" can't help you, perhaps you should consider investing in a tool made by those who can, like those who pay a substantial monthly bill to sponsor this sub-forum for that exact purpose.

Ahh, entschuldigung. Spoken like a true salesman. Its all good though. Will admit that the VAG-COM is a superior device which i wish i had, its just not within my pay grade right now. That why i opted for the next best thing. Anyhoo, my search continues. Auf wiedersehen bro
