What's the difference between HEX-USB and KEY-USB? Is one better than the other for an '02 B6 A4?

They both should act the same on the 02...
Both the Key-USB and the Hex-usb are no longer in production. The Key-USB was replaced by the KII-USB. The Hex-usb was replaced by the HEX-USB+CAN.
