Default 1972 Audi 100 in one of my local self serve junkyards...need parts?

A beautiful 72 100 showed up in one of my local self serve yards. I'd be happy to harvest anything for anybody...shame to see it get crushed. Seems like I'm always there for my A6 and A4 projects so it wouldn't be much trouble to take requests.

Cheers,

Dave

Default That's a shame that they put it out to be picked over by the vultures.

Hey, no offence intended Dave....on my good days I'm a vulture.
Cheers!

Default I had the chance to buy the car for cheap the last time I checked in at the impound lot.

unfortunately, I didn't have any room for it...was already parking 2 or 3 cars on the street (my garage and driveway hold 4 comfortably and 6 uncomfortably if that gives us any indication of my overstock status at the time.) When I saw it at the yard I was somewhat forlorn about its fate, too. But, now that it's there, let's find the good bits good homes.

My vulture (Dave) is picking at it now! Hey- one must die so that others may live, right?!

Default Can it be saved still?

I would love one of these, but it looks a little far gone. What did he want for it? Hopefully close to zero. If you know of a more complete one, please let me know.

Is the engine still in it? My dad has a '70 100LS (modified for racing) in need of an engine...
