Race gas info for Waterfest (100 octane = teh luv)
Called Raceway Park today and was told that their race gas pumps will be open during Waterfest. They have several flavors, most is LEADED (careful), but they also have one pump of 100 unleaded. She couldn't remember whether the price was $3.75 or $4.25/gal, but that's cheaper than where I would get some. FYI - CASH ONLY.
Besides, I did not pre-register, so I won't know until Saturday (the day I am likely going) whether I will need it or not (if no more slots at the dragstrip).
Now if you have no cats and aren't worried about your O2 sensors, etc., then you can really go to town as it starts at 104 octane and goes up to 116 (at about $7.50/gallon)!!! Now that's some whoop-***!!
