Have been looking around for winter tires and wheels the last little while, and somewhat torn between ordering the 19" LM25's from Tirerack that are on sale and using my OEM 19" rims, or picking up a separate set.

I've seen some used 225/50 x 17 tires on AR1 replica RS4 wheels (17 x 7.5 ET35) for sale in the classified ads, a couple guys indicating they used them on their S4s.

Are there any issues with using these rims on my 2011 S4? I didn't think there was much clearance, but it appears some rims will fit, so I was curious what the pitfalls were? Does the lack of clearance or minimal clearance, to be specific, cause issues?
