Default 2018 SQ5 Tires

I am in need of a new set of tires for my SQ5. The OEM is a Perilli 255/40R21 102Y with only 20k miles. I want a harder tire compound so the tires last longer. Has anyone else put a different tire size on their SQ5?

Hmmm, Perilli sounds like a chinese knock-off tire. Your car should have been fitted with Pirelli tires from the factory.

Yes sorry I misspelled Pirelli and did not see a way to edit my post. I do have the factory installed Pirelli P Zero 255/40R21, they currently have 20k miles and need new tires. I have the 5 V-spoke rims.

My question was has anyone put a different tire size on the SQ5? If so what tire size and brand did they use.

Thanks!

Yes do a search for that thread, many were surprised at the lack of choice for a 21" tire, and I believe some have used a slightly different size in another brand. Also Tire Rack online rates tires as well as wear, comfort, noise, wet weather and snow handling, and you can see reviews from actual owners.

We don't list an alternate size for the 21" outside of the OEM. The Pirelli Scorpion Zero AS is the hardest tire and will give better wear than the The P Zero if that's what you are using.
