Default 215/55-16 Winter Sport-M3's on a TT = Ok size?

I've just received winter tires from TireRack for my '01 180TTQC. The summer tires are 225/45-17s. The new Dunlop M3's are on 16" steelies, but in a 215/55 size rather than the more common 205/55 size (TireRack was out of the 205's).

Although only 10mm wider, they look larger than the summer tires, and doing the math indicates they are 1.3% larger in height and diameter.

Is this difference something that should concern me? I'm about to put them on this afternoon...

Default It's fine.

Narrower tires will do better in deeper snow, but the size is close enough that you shouldn't have any issues.
