Another Drew

I've ordered some Fikses and now I need to get some tires. I'm considering S02 (not PP), the MXX3 or Sport , or the Yokohama AVS Sports for my S4. I've gotten conflicting information from Tirerack and I was wondering if anyone had some thoughts. Their website shows that Yoko's are the noisest but two of the guys at Tirerack said the Yoko's are the quiest. Eddie, in case you're reading this, I tried to call you but you can be a little busy sometimes.

I have the Proxes T1+ which they replaced with the T1-S. I haven't tried the T1-S but you should at least read about them and consider them.<ul><li><a href="http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_lines/high_perf/t1s.html">Toyo Proxes T1-S</a></li></ul>

I already told Drew this, but I'll post for others too. The Toyo Proxes T1+'s that I had got greasy. They were almost at the wear bar, and I could REALLY get them to slide around alot, and even get the car to power oversteer if the ground was damp. Maybe I just auto-x'ed them one too many times. I dunno.

Kind of a moot point since the T1+ is no longer made. Dunno if the new T1-S is a new compound.

I have the S02 (not PP) in the same size and absolutley love them. They have INCREDIBLE grip, wet & dry. They beat the sp8000e's by at least twice as much stickiness.
I highly recommend them. Keep in mind, Porsche run these as a factory option on true performance minded machine.
