Default For all you 19" rollers out there...

What's the maximum tire width you can fit on a 19"rim for the rear wheels on an A4? I am looking at running 265/30 tires in the rear. Will it fit? I have Eibach's installed which lower the car about 1.4". If it doesn't fit, can the rear fenders be rolled to accomodate that size of a tire? Is it possible or is it too wide? I plan on running 235/35 in the front...Don't worry, I have a FWD.
TIA

Default Performance for a 12V?

Show me some mods that will get my 12V over 225hp and then maybe it'll be worth getting some extra performance! If I can't get that, then why bother?
I'd rather spend my money on bigger rims than performance mods that only get me going as fast as a chipped 1.8 (maybe not even that fast).

Default

vortrag can get it over 250hp. Supposedly the 12v "responds well to conventional tuning"

Default At least move towards a more rewarding drive - the mass of a 19inch spinning wheel will destroy

your cornering ability and ride.
Do as you wish.. But make sure you have fun.

Default That's not exactly true.

Yes, a 17 or 18 is a better wheels size if performance is your main goal. If you don't buy 40lbs 19" wheels, the performance is not as bad as you think. Trust me, I know. As far as the ride....If I took you for a ride in my car, you would know I was on 19s unless I told you.

Default On my S4, I have 235/35........I wouldn't try anything wider. If you do,

you'll need to roll the fenders. The proper offset for that type of wheel/tire combo will also be critical. 265s!!!! Trying to be a 911 or something?
