Any advantage going to W or Z rated tires?.........
I am planning on the 2.7T with the PSK Sport Package (16" wheels). I have talked to a number of people in the Northeast who run Toyo FZ4s and Dunlop SP5000s through the winter with great results. In 225/55/16 the Toyo's are V rated and the Dunlop's are W rated--is there an advantage to going with the W or Z rating?
Thanks!!

In general, the high speed rating (W/Z) will mean the tire has a stiffer sidewall.
This means you'll lose some compliance in the tire, and the ride might feel a tad rougher. It also means that your steering will feel marginally better.
Choosing between these tires will probably be a case of fine tuning the ride for what you like. I doubt there would be dramatic differences between the tires based on the speed ratings alone.
