should i be concerned about damaging the car (i.e. quattro) if i ever get a flat on a side of the car where the spare tire's tread would be running in an opposing direction? other than possibly having ill driving effect, is there potential to damage anything? i'm worried about getting a flat on a long trip and having to mount the spare in this manner until making it to a tire shop safely.

if this is a problem, are there any non-directional tires in 235/35/19 that could work as a spare tire, while the other 3 tires are directional?
