Check out the picture. It's a kind of small mark on the edge. It's not too bad and I would probably do that within 6 months anyway. But it seems wrong to have a messed up wheel right from the start.
Tirerack has offered $100 if I keep the wheel. Should I do it?
Thanks.

Hell no... make them send you a new one!
If it was on the inside, then take the $100.00... but those BBS wheels are not cheap, and hopefully the price you paid will serve as a reminder every time you park your car...
And trust me... the 100 they offer... gets them off easy... have them send you a new one, and a UPS call tag to pick up the damaged one...

make them overnight you a new one. That Is BS
For the amount of money you spent and for quality that is terrible. BBS is a fine wheel and if they don't pack them right you are screwed. Especially since they mounted it

Ok I'm pretty **** but I'd keep it
for 150...the cost it would be to get the whole wheel refinished in the future- You're bound to eventually get scratches far worse than that...You could pay for several scratches at once...
I don't think 100 is enough though...It looks to be more than just a superficial scratch

Not on the BBS'! Have them pay to pick up the new wheel and send you another
It'll cost you about $50 to refinish the lip, and it probably won't look like all the others once it is refinished.
