Load rating of tyes - 2005 Audi A4 2.0tdi (B7)
Hi there
I have to replace tyres on my Audi. The tyres on it for all 4 wheels are rated 97V however the tyres available from a few Cape Town dealers are not the same. They offer for instance 93V. Load rating of 97 is 730kg while 93 is 650kg.
The car owners manual mentions nothing at all in this regard. The only tyre information is found inside the drivers door post however that is only about tyre pressues, once again no info on ratings.
I do believe that having the correct tyre ratings is important. Can someone please shed light on finding the correct info for this car.
Thank you.

Typo error on the AMM article, the A4 tested was a 3.0TDI not a 2.0TDI according to the AMM website.
