Looking for a 17x7.5" lightweight rim...
'00 S4 225/45 R17 S-03 Poles on my stock Avus. I want to keep the tires and get a new summer lightweight rim.
I would like to stick with a 4-7 spoke for easy cleaning like the Avus. Any thoughts? I haven't seen many 17"'s that are only 7.5" with matching offset.
AT S5 and OZ Record are the only two I found at tirerack and both don't seem very lightweight.

What about 17x8?
Edgeracing has Flix Lex in that size with ET35 that weighs 18 lbs. 5 double-spoke design. Don't know how strong they are though. Probably not very - light and cast usually means weak, but I guess there are always exceptions.

Re: What about 17x8?
8" wouldn't be bad, 8.5" might be stretching my s-03's too much.
But the double spoke kinda kills the easy cleaning theory I was after. I wouldn't mind keeping the Avus if only it was 10lbs lighter and cheap enough to replace if I had any problems..
