so I can get a better summer tire. I have seen a few raves about the General tire. What are thoughts in here? Love it or leave it? I run stock, so 215/55/16 for my A6 2.7T I don't track it or need $200 tires so I am trying to get a decent budget summer tire that will be low noise and give decent mileage.

Default I use that same size on my Accord. The new GTs look awesome, great tests too. I have Exclaims, they

are meh and wear is not so good. Your car will chew through them. fwiw, I have GY Eagle Response Edge on now and I like them better than my Pilot Sports.

Yoko has two tires that offer better wear, the H/V4S at 500 and the TRZ at about 700. The H4S has AA wet rating. I used TRZ on our CRV and they were damn good, esp in rain and good in snow. Depending on driving style, imo they are just as good as a HR touring tire.

I'd also consider the General Altimax HP over the Exclaim.
