Default need opions on RH Wheels. Are they good quality? Any experience? more (REPOST)

I have been looking for whels for a long time. I plan on buying in March. I REALLY like the look of the Porsche Turbo 3.6 wheels on the A4. Kinesis makes wheels that look like this (SuperCup). But they are like $700+ dollars for 18's! I found a company called RH out of Germany that has two wheels that look similair. One is a true 3 piece (about $650, PD style) the other is a "look-alike" 3 piece (about $350, the AG cup) I can definately get the AG cup (with Tires, Yokohama AVS S1 18's) for $2,300. They come in direct Audi fitments, and supposedly have TUV ratings. They are approximately 24lbs. each. What do you guys think?

take a look: http://www.salesco.com/wheels/rh/index.html

Thanks!
Chris

Default How about this (pic) for Porsche style wheels?

I checked out the RH wheels you are considering. I have had 3-piece wheels before and I would not buy them again. Cleaning brake dust around the rivets is a major pain. As far as Porsche style wheels go, I really like the twisted hollow spoke design. Caractere USA sells these replicas in 18 x 8 size for $1,199 a set. They do fit the Audi A4, but unfortunately they don't come in 17" size.

What do you think of these?

Default my initial thoughts

They may be a real quality operation, but boy, there website is real cheesey. Compare that to Tirerack or Ronal's sites, I'd be a little nervous buying from this other place. Good luck if you use it and let us know how it works out.

I believe they have a fitment for the TT. I know for a fact the wheel fits the VW Golf and New Beetle which are built on the same platform as the TT, and have similar bolt pattern, etc.

You can e-mail them at autobahn@teleport.com. The web site is www.autobahnint.com.
