Needs clarification - tire balancing and glued weights...
Hi, I noticed that on my 99.5 1.8T QTipS that my stock sports package 7-spoke wheels all got glued weights on them, I assume that was done while they balanced the tires. I noticed that 3 of them got the same weight glued on while 1 of the wheels got a much heavier weight glued on it. Considering the tires are all the same, the stock Dunlop SP8000E, and the wheels are the same stock sports package ones, should I be of concern about this? I believe the much heavier one is in the back if that matters. As you can tell, I am new to this and have no clue about these tire weights issues. Any info. would be appreciated, thanks!!

This is normal. Tire manufacturing process is not perfect and some tires require more weight than
othres and need the weight on different parts of the wheel width. Taping is preferred as it does not damage the wheels and can be used on the inside of the wheel rather than the outside where it would be visible and ruin the look of the wheel.
