Default Nitto 450 vs Pirelli 7000ss - real world input?

I am about to get some new sneakers in the 17 inch variety (225/45/17) on my A4.

Any experience with these wheels?

Default nitto nt450

the nittos were great, but they took a little bit of time to get warmed up and really grippy. Ever think of the sumitomo htrz 2?

yeah, i thought about them, but i wans't too sure about the UTOG ratings

THe Nitto's have a treadwear rating of about 300 - hopefully that translates into longer real life usage

yeah the nittos have 300 and i think my new sumitomos have 220. they are pretty much the same price, so go with what suits you the best.
