Normal tread wear?
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/33853/tires_002.jpg">
My A6 2.7t came with Brisgestone Potenzas. I have 13000 miles on them with not a lot of hard driving. I live in an area where I don't have much highway driving to do.
What is the "average" life span for tires like these? I am a little suprised to see the tread wear that I have so far but wasn't sure if this was normal. Sorry for the novice question but thanks for your help/advice.

Too low IMO, I like it around 37-40. Slightly higher PSI will definitely help the tire wear...
not to mention that the A6 is somewhat heavy. Is that pic of the front or back tire? When I wore out my first set of tires, the front were worn on the outside and the back in the middle of the tire. I now try to keep it around 38 front and 37 rear and rotate the tires every few thousand miles. The wear has been much more even.
