Default Revival of Firestone?

For several reasons I never thought I would buy Firestone tires again - from product experience and for philosophical reasons. But with the re-introduction of the Firehawk Indy 500’s, Tirerack's reviews, and the great price point, both my A6 S-Line and TTS are riding on them. Really happy with the product — and I have been a life long Michelin fan. Way to go Firestone, and thanks for all the help Tirerack!

I will still always buy Michelins for summer or all seasons. Bridgestones for Winter tires. But firehawk is like buying wallmart tires and are cheap and terrible in every aspect especially for a luxury car. Wait till those Firestone get half way through their lifespan, they will vibrate, wear more, have noiser ride etc. It will never be as perfect as Michelins!

I remember the stories from the 60s and 70s. In the 80s was the Expedition issue with Ford and Firestone pointing fingers at each other I believe that managmanageis flawed at the top and would never buy them
