Default Sidewall Bulge?

My Michelin Pilot MXM has a bulge about a dime in diameter 3/8" high located about 1.5" from rim. No steel belt exposed (yet). Is this anyting to worry about?

Thanks.

more bumps can enlarge it, then a blowout. No fix, just replace. Roadhazard warranty?

Default Yes. Needs replaced. (m)

Dan L is correct. In about 99.8% of cases it has been caused by an impact damage at some point, and that in most cases has gradually gotten worse to where it is visually noticable., Since it has compromised the sidewall it does need to be replaced.

The rub is that it likely will ot fall within warranty as the cause is considered due to the 'road hazard'.

Call me if I can help!

unless bought from American Tire company, they offer the "road hazard"
