Default spare tire

I'm installing 18" wheels and tires on my Audi A4 2.8 and was wondering if the stock spare tire will work with new wheels/tires if I get a flat? My stock wheels/tires are 16".

Default If the outside diameter of the tires is the same - then the answer is yes

you can check it at this link.

One other reminder - the wheel bolts with your new wheels may not fit the spare - so you need to carry a set of wheel bolts for use with the spare.

Tire size comparator

Default Re: spare tire

on a B5A4 if your spare is 205/55R16 and the new tire size is 225/40R18 this is no problem for usage as a spare. Both are right around 25"

Reggie makes a good point as well... be sure to carry a set of OE lug bolts in case the bolts for your new wheels are different.
