Thoughts on PlastiDipping Wheels?
I'm looking for a cheaper, less permanent alternative to painting or powder coating my stock 19" wheels. Anyone have experience w/ PlastiDipping wheels? If so, how easily is it removed when/if I am ready to go back to stock alloy?

I'm not sure plastidip would work out well on wheels. Plastidip is not smooth but textured and I think brake dust will fill the cravaces and be near impossible to clean. As well for the best adhesion of the plastidip you would have to scuff up the surface before applying.

I had plastidipped my 18" wheels on my a4 and it was a lot harder to get it off then they had sold it to be. I had to use a scrub brush to get the last bit off. If you want to change the color for a little bit then go ahead and do it. But I suggest not painting the inside of the wheel, just the face. It was awful the get the inside pieces completely clean. Good luck!
