Tire size for '95 A6Q w/ Sport Package (16" wheel not documented)...

...PO put 235/60-16's on; they rub. I want to put Dunlop SP5000's on, but haven't been able to determine which size tire to buy. There's no documentation with the car (gas lid/door post/owner's manual) that shows a 16" option. And, neither the dealer nor Audi of America knows. This car has 6 spoke OEM wheels. The '97 calls out 205/55-16 as part of the "value package." Is this the correct size?<p>Scot Greeno

Easy

225/50-16 is the best size to use for the A6 (24.9" OD- OEM is 25.0 on 15")
