Tire & Wheel Warranty need to bring car to dealership to use
I have an A8 with a tire that is losing air. I have the Tire & Wheel warranty but have never used it. I realized that I have no informational paperwork, only a receipt. I called the dealership, which is an hour away, and was told that I need to bring my car there for them to fix the tire under warranty. I can't drive on it. I'm not going to change the tire and put the spare on to drive there when I can go ten minutes from home to have it fixed, but I'll have to pay for it.
I'm going to call the dealer to get them to send me the info, but wanted to know if anyone here has to bring their vehicle to the dealership to use the Tire & Wheel warranty bought from Audi at the time of vehicle purchase.
Thanks.

The language for those tire policies or those that speak for them can be misleading. You should be able to get repairs somewhere else but your coverage may require extra documentation or a call from the repair facility. Your plan will usually have a maximum dollar amount that they will reimburse you too.
