Made it through the winter with a new set of Blizzaks on my 2016 A6 which worked will here in New England. Had my Conti ProContacts put back on a couple of weeks back with thoughts of replacing them later this summer since they have about 50K on them and the tread is getting low.

However, it seems that on one tire, the belts have shifted which now make driving them very noisy and possibly dangerous.

Started at looking at replacements, and do want All Seasons despite having dedicated winter tires, as this year has shown again that summer can take a while to get churning.

My original thoughts were to go with Conti ExtremeContact DWS06 but then noticed that there seems to be another similar model out Conti PureContact. I had the earlier version of DWS on my 2005 A6 which I ran all year.

However, many of the reviews of both the DWS06 and the PureContacts are indicating possible issues with both with tread life and side wall bubbles. There are also reports that the ExtremeContact DWS06 tires are being phased out.

Just looking for recommendations or thoughts about Extreme vs Pure or if there would be a better tire (outside the Conti brand) to investigate.
