What is the difference in the Michelin Pilot Alpin and the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2...
and how do they compare to the Dunlop Winter Sport M2. I'm assuming that the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2 is just an updated version of the regular Alpin, bt I would like some more feedback.
I'm considering 205/60HR15 for the Michelin's and 195/65TR15 for the Dunlops.

Like the Dunlop M2/M3, we're told the Pilot Alpin PA2 is simply a tread pattern update, no major differences in the two tires.
The Pilot Alpin had the best dry handling from our experience of any winter tire we've driven on, but the worst ice and snow traction. I'd only recommend it for a light snow area for someone who is confident about snow driving.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&url=/winter/index.jsp">winter tires</a></li></ul>
