What a difference a tire makes...I now wish for snow.

Could not keep 180TTQ on the road with 17" Potenzas. Just fitted 16" 215 55 Pilot Alpins. Took it out for a spin in the snow and it gripped under accel, braking and cornering. Tires, steel wheels and trims and delivery $690 from Tirerack.com next day.

Same with us...the Potenza's are great on dry/wet roads, but we almost had 2 accidents on our first snow. Just got Blizzaks from TireRack and the grip is better than my Land Cruiser...

btw...the salesman had specifically said the Potenza's were all-season radials (!).
