Wheel experts- question: 18" BBS RSII come with adjustable bolt patterns, will fit any car... TRUE??

True - I had ETs on my tri-powered 65 GTO in the late 60s They work by
having slots in the areas where the car bolts are located. Then depending on the car model/mfr you could purchase a spacer with a hole for the bolt to fit. The spacers for the wheels was the same size on the outside (oval pattern) but in the spacer was a hole that was located with the correct spacing from the center of the wheel. It looked fragile in the area where the spacer went.
I think their idea was that you could take the wheels with you if you switched cars. Also they could produce on one wheel (reducing inventory) and just make spacers for each model.
I never had any problems with my wheels (actually won them in a contest in Shreveport La) but I would not use them now (A little bit of difference in income since I was a sargent in the AF at that Vietnam War time.)
