Default will 17x8 (f) 17x9 (r) taken off a merc c-class fit an A4?

i am thinking of buying the above mentioned set off a friend, and was wondering whether they fitted, since the mechanic said that Audi and merc shared the same offset. What offset does audi use? Thanks in advance. Greatly appreciate it.

Quattro system dictates all four wheels be of equal size

Default MMMMmmmm. Absolutely not (repost)...

The width is irrelevant, it is the radius that counts, and even that can be off by a couple of percent. If you are aware of the handling of your car, different widths can make q handle much better or worse.

Take the donut out and compare it to your existing wheel and tell me that even large differences in diameter are an issue. Keep it sensible and it will last essentially forever.

Default Same bolt pattern, but centerbore's different. Are they AMG Monoblocks (C36)? It will look weird...

to have them on an A4 I think.

Default Will fit (archive repost)...

They sure will fit spec. wise. The centerbore is larger though, so you will need a simple adapter from H and R or Tire Rack, etc. I don't know the offset or tire you are choosing, so you may need a spacer for the wider rim (H and R). Don't cheap out on the adapter though, the bolts aren't designed for shear loads.

Default They will fit - merc CB is 67mm, audi is 57mm - just get a proper hubcentering ring. nt
