Wobble Lugs Option

Wobble Lugs Option
I recently purchased wheels from an online source as I desired to upgrade from the factory rims on my 2009 Audi A5 3.7L. I basically "got took" as the seller falsely represented 5x112 wheels when they were in face 5x114.3. Although I paid a relatively good price of $800 for an almost new set of Giovanni Portofinos, they were basically worthless as they would not fit the car when I attempted to have them mounted. After researching, I looked at the option of using wobble lugs. At this point I was already out of $800 so what difference would an extra $70 make so I ordered a set. With low expectations, I brought my car into a small tire shop (most larger tire shops refuse to mount the lugs for fear of liability) and tested them out. WOW! This was an awesome decision. The lugs worked magnificently and I am the proud owner of a "crackin" new Audi sitting on staggered 20s (9.5 et 40 fronts / 10.5 et 35 rears). We put 275/30/20s in the back and 245/35/20s in the front. If you want
to upgrade your wheels but were stymied by limited selections in 112s, be bold and go up to the 114.3 with confidence. **This only works when the tolerances are 3mm or less**
