Your Favorite Tires
What is your favorite flavor of rubber under $100ea.? No need for snow traction, got seperate tires for that.
I am putting new rubber on my 1987 4KQ. I will be running 205/40/17.
I have heard good and bad things about the Yok. Parada Spec 2's. Tirerack reviews are good, but they may be censored.
My tire guy suggested Kuhmo 711s, since larger 712s won't stay round.
Thoughts?

The reviews are not censored.
What does your tire guy mean by that the 712 won't stay round? The Paradas are very nice tires. My friend has them on his bettle and likes them very much.
BTW: Will you ever tell me what kind of lower spoiler you have on your front?

What do you mean our reviews "may be censored"??
We do all of our tests independetly in house with all of us sales guys driving them, & giving our own opinions on them, and we share the hard data.. not much to 'censor'

I don't think it would be that difficult for Tirerack to delete a customer comment. Hey, I am not saying that they have, but even this forum is censored.

Sorry for not answering you before... I don't have a lot of info on the spoiler. It is manufactured by Votex GmbH. Votex GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary company of Volkswagen AG. Hey says that they tend to feather, if you don't run them hard. I consider him to be a reliable source. "Gran Tourismo East" in ATL, GA.
