Frickin rust bucket. I purchased the Karmann Ghia as a restoration project. I started with a soggy floor'd, mouse infested turd... currently (spring 2012) its still a turd but now it has floors and one door closes like it should, haha. It will be a pan scraping hood-ride when its done. The goals with the car are simple: Fun, silly, air-bagged vintage car with an EJ22T in the back.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Currently I have an EJ22T ready to find a home with a Type3 transmission to bolt to it.
200whp in an 1800lb car is my end result
Suspension Modifications:
Air Bags and updated brakes, steering and bushings soon. Air suspension is awaiting a repaired heater channel before I start cutting in
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
15" widened smoothies.
Eventually it will have white walls
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Basic for now. Legacy seats and a 50's wheel.
Exterior will be a turquoise shade by Hot Rod Flatz
Future Modifications:
Make it run and drive down the road straight
