Materials Needed
- 13mm socket
- New wiper arm
Step 1 – Remove plastic cover
Pull off the plastic cover on the base of the arm, where it connects to the car. You can do that by hand.
Step 2 – Remove arm's nut
The wiper's arm is held in place by a 13mm nut. Use your 13mm socket to remove the nut.
Step 3 – Remove wiper arm
Pull the wiper arm off. You may need to wiggle it a bit, so extend the arm, then gently wiggle it until it comes loose.
Step 4 – Install new arm
Install the new arm in place, then tighten the 13mm nut. Place the plastic piece over the nut, and click it into place.
