New Ride

Ken Block is a longtime race car driver across multiple forms of motorsport, as well as the founder of Hoonigan. Block has also owned some pretty amazing cars in his time, many of which have starred in his mega-popular Gymkhana series. But Block also recently ended his 10-year partnership with Ford, which means that he's branching out a bit - an effort that includes this amazing Audi Sport Quattro he purchased from LCE Performance in Germany and brought to the 2021 SEMA Show.

Dream Ride

As part of his new affiliation with Audi, Block recently picked up a new RS e-Tron GT as his daily driver. But he calls this Sport Quattro his personal dream car, which isn't a surprise given the fact that Block's heart has always been dedicated to rallying. This replica build was imported into the U.S. and repainted white before it went on display at SEMA, but pretty much everything else has already been built to the nines.

Plenty of Power

Under the hood, the Audi's 2.5-liter turbocharged powerplant cranks out a hefty 736 horsepower, which is more than enough to have some fun with the lightweight replica. The fact that this car isn't a real-deal example of the rare homologation special is important as well, because Block notes that he isn't a collector - he likes to drive his cars, and drive them hard, without having to worry about messing up a rare and desirable vehicle.

Rolling Stock

The Sport Quattro replica rolls on vintage-looking Rotoform wheels that are based on the company's ROC design to look somewhat like the originals but have been renamed ROC-H. They're wrapped in Toyo R888R tires, which is fitting given the fact that Block is sponsored by Toyo and this car appeared in the company's SEMA booth.

All Business

The interior of this race car for the street is all business, as one might expect, with only the necessary equipment and a pair of classic Recaro Pole Position seats. Rally legend Walter Röhrl's signature also adorns the dash, which is a cool touch and a nod to Block's hero and inspiration.

No Status Quo

With a body made from a mixture of carbon and carbon-kevlar, this Sport Quattro replica is undoubtedly light. Throw in its high output, and it's obvious that this is going to be one seriously quick Audi. But then again, it's become clear over the years that the status quo isn't going to cut it for Block, a man whose road-going cars are nearly as fast as his racers.
