MotorWeek Names Audi A6 2005 Best Luxury Sedan in Their 2005 Drivers' Choice Awards

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS— At this year’s Chicago Auto Show, MotorWeek announced the selection of the Audi A6 as “Best Luxury Sedan” as part of the 2005 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Awards. This year a team of 15 judges, comprised of the writers, producers and crew of MotorWeek, evaluated more than 150 cars and trucks, looking for superior performance, technology, practicality and dollar value.

This award joins a growing number of awards from around the globe for the all-new Audi A6. Other recent awards include:

  • Money Magazine “Best Luxury Car 2005”
  • “Car of the Year 2005” recognition from the readers of ADAC Motorwelt, Germany’s best read magazine
  • Chosen the winner in the full size class by the readers of “auto, motor und sport” in their 2005 readers poll
  • Best ever results for a business sedan in the recent round of tests in the European New Car Assessment Program
