Awesome, I was thinking of doing this too but I was hoping pricing would be announced so I can see how much full body paint would be. I know it was 1k last model but the UK has it as a no cost option so I was hoping maybe it would be on the 2017. I'll probably stick with the standard paint if it's that much again. I think it looks good on the lighter colors like Florret silver but I was thinking manhattan grey with full paint would look nice.
I'm curious how the ordering process worked for you. The dealer was fine negotiating just on a percentage off msrp? Are you committed to purchase or can you back out if the pricing is ridiculous. I'm getting impatient waiting on pricing. The only thing I'm curious about is cost of a premium with conv and heated seats vs premium plus. The only difference is led lights and BO sound between those two configs. That and the cost of full paint are my only curiosities. Otherwise, I'd place my order now. Did they give you a build week?

I contacted a couple different dealers once I knew exactly what I wanted and negotiated a 9% off MSRP with a delivery date of Sept/Oct.
In order to place the order they require a refundable deposit (unless you order an unusual color combination)

Questions on Driver Assistance Package
Looking at the Order Guide, only the Prestige trim offers the Drivers Assistance package which indicates 5 key features:
1. Adaptive Cruise Ctrl 2. (with Traffic Jam Assist)
3. Active lane assist
4. High Beam assistant
5. Traffic sign recognition
However, reading this 3rd party link says: 2017 Audi A4 vs 2016 Audi A4: An insider's perspective
Quoted: .... Furthermore, the full arsenal of driver’s assistance technology that I wrote about for the 2017 Q7’s release will also be available in the A4. As a refresher, those technologies include such features as adaptive cruise control, automatic pre-collision braking, self parking, traffic-jam assist, turn assist, exit assist, Audi Connect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a soon-to-be-released smartwatch interface.
So, will the 2017 A4 Allroad 2017 get more driver's assistance technologies or just the 5 listed in the Order's Guide ?
